What this page actually does — and what it does not
To be direct about it: DocTable does not connect to your Google account or push rows into a live spreadsheet automatically. What it does is the harder part of the job — reading the table out of a PDF (including scanned PDFs, which Sheets' own import cannot read at all) and handing you a clean CSV file. From there, getting it into Sheets is a native one-click import, not a separate tool you need.
Importing the CSV into Sheets
In Google Sheets: File → Import → Upload, choose the downloaded CSV, and pick "Insert new sheet" or "Replace current sheet." Because DocTable already split the data into real columns, there is no manual "Split text to columns" step afterward — the import lands ready to use.
Why this beats Sheets' own PDF handling
Google Sheets has no native PDF table import at all, and Google Docs' "Open with Google Docs" trick only works on PDFs that already have a text layer — it does nothing for a scanned or photographed page. DocTable's vision OCR reads scanned and digital PDFs the same way, so a photocopied statement or a phone photo of a printed table works exactly like an exported digital PDF would.

Does DocTable upload directly into my Google Sheets account?
No — DocTable does not connect to your Google account. It extracts the table and gives you a CSV file, which Sheets opens with File → Import in a few seconds.
Why CSV instead of an .xlsx file for Sheets?
Both work — CSV is the simplest and most universal import format for Sheets, and DocTable can also give you .xlsx if you prefer.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Yes. Scanned and digital PDFs go through the same vision OCR.
Is this free?
Sign-in is required before the first scan. Sign-in gives 10 free scans, then scans use paid credits. Downloading a result is free.
How accurate is the extraction?
It depends mostly on the source. Clear, ruled tables read most reliably, while blurry scans and dense multi-column layouts are the hard cases. No measured accuracy figure has been published for DocTable, so review the numbers before financial use.
