Does DocTable store my documents permanently?

No. DocTable is not a document archive. Uploads are processed temporarily for OCR and export, then discarded after short TTL windows. Account metadata (login, credits) may be stored separately.

What file types does DocTable accept?

PNG, JPG/JPEG, WEBP, GIF images; PDF (rendered for AI vision OCR, up to 5 pages); CSV and Excel (.xlsx) parsed directly into tables without OCR.

Does DocTable support Persian OCR?

Yes. DocTable is Persian-first for users in Asia/Tehran timezone and works for English and mixed Farsi/English documents, including common Iranian forms and invoices.

Where is my file sent for OCR?

Files are sent to third-party AI providers (for example xAI/Grok and NVIDIA vision models) to perform OCR. Their terms and privacy policies apply to that processing.

Is OCR output guaranteed accurate?

No. OCR is probabilistic. DocTable provides results as-is without warranty. You must verify all outputs before any important use.
