Important

Bank data is sensitive. Processing is temporary and uses third-party AI OCR. Always verify amounts. Details are in the app Privacy Policy — not repeated as a banner on every screen.

  1. Clear PDF or photo of the statement
  2. Upload on DocTable
  3. Preview rows
  4. Download Excel after sign-in

What gets extracted

Each transaction becomes a row with date, description, debit or credit amount, and running balance in separate columns. Many statements print a long transaction description that wraps onto a second physical line — DocTable's OCR reassembles that into a single row instead of splitting it into two, so wrapped merchant names or memo text don't fragment your data.

Scanned or digital PDF — both work

A scanned (image) PDF from a photocopier or phone photo and a digital PDF exported straight from online banking go through the same vision OCR. There is no separate "scan mode" to pick; upload either kind and DocTable reads it the same way.

Converting many months or years at once

There is no artificial cap like 12 or 24 months. Upload as many statement files as you have — a full year, several years, or a stack of monthly PDFs from a cleanup project — in a single batch. DocTable automatically groups scans that belong to the same statement type into one output file instead of handing back one file per page, so a two-year cleanup produces one clean spreadsheet, not dozens of tiny ones. Each individual scan still uses one credit; batching only changes how the output is organized, not how it's charged.

Bank statement to Excel, CSV, and OCR

Convert a bank statement to Excel or use bank statement OCR on scanned PDFs. Export as spreadsheet or bank statement to CSV. A bank statement analyzer workflow starts with clean rows — always verify numbers before financial use. Convert bank statement to Excel for many months or years at once.

For teams: bulk bank statement processing

Converting one statement at a time doesn't scale for a bookkeeping team or a customs desk clearing dozens of them a month. The Business pack is a bigger one-time top-up built for that: $49 for 2,000 pages — a lower per-page rate than the packs above — with an official PayPal receipt for expensing and a Data Processing Agreement available on request. Uploads are still grouped automatically, so a batch of statements comes back as one clean file per account, not one file per page.

One-time credit, not a subscription — top up again whenever you need to. No contract, no setup fee.

Frequently asked questions

Can DocTable convert bank statement PDF to Excel?

Yes. Always verify numbers before financial use.

Is the statement stored forever?

No permanent archive. See Privacy in the app.

Which banks?

Any clear statement — not a bank API integration.

Is it free?

Sign-in is required before the first scan. Sign-in gives 10 free scans, then scans use paid credits. Downloading a result is free.

Can I export to CSV, not just Excel?

Yes — besides Excel and Word, you can download the extracted table as a CSV file.

Can I convert multiple bank statements at once?

Yes — upload several months or years together. DocTable groups scans from the same statement type into one output file instead of one file per page.

Does it handle transactions that wrap across two lines?

Yes. A description that wraps onto a second line is reassembled into a single row, not split in two.

Is there a limit on how many months or years I can convert?

No fixed limit like 12 or 24 months. Upload as many files as you have; each scan uses one credit and the results are grouped automatically.

Does it work on scanned statements, not just digital PDFs?

Yes — scanned and digital PDFs both go through the same vision OCR.
