How grouping works
Pages and files that hold the same kind of document are grouped into one output file; different documents get separate files. So twelve statements of one account come back as one Excel file, while an invoice and a bank statement in the same upload stay in separate files.
Formats for a merged batch
A merged batch can be downloaded as Excel, Word or CSV. A single document can also be exported as JSON or text.
Long PDFs in the background
Each PDF can have up to 500 pages. Long PDFs are read in the background with a live page counter, at about 30 seconds per page (median of live scans), so you can leave the tab open and come back.
